Capriccio for Violoncello & Piano in A-Flat Major, H.247

On April 5, 2024, cellist Ailbhe McDonagh and her sister, pianist Orla McDonagh, released a digital-only recording of Fanny Mendelssohn's Capriccio for Violoncello and Piano in A-Flat Major. The track has a runtime of 6 minutes and 42 seconds and is credited to the duo, who perform together as The McDonagh Sisters. While their recording of this specific composition was previously included on their 2020 collaborative album, Skellig, it was subsequently issued as a standalone single in 2024.
